Coming
from Halifax on the Dartmouth side
(1 hour & 45 min.), Take the new bridge to Dartmouth and follow
the signs marked Eastern Shore or Marine Drive until you arrive at Highway
#7 in Musquodoboit Harbour. You will be travelling on
Route #107 ( the fastest), #207 (most scenic) or old #7 through Cherrybrook
and Preston.
These highways all converge in Musquodoboit Harbour,
Continue east down Highway #7 along the Eastern Shore through Sheet
Harbour and Port Dufferin. Distance: a little over 100km (60 miles).
This is the gateway to the Bay of Islands region. Continue along Highway
#7 another 20 minutes until you arrive at Moser River at Necum Teuch
Bay. From the bridge, you can't miss the Bay of Islands Centre and the
Prospector's House -- it's just in front of you on the hill.

The Stone Soup Festival will be located at the Bay of Islands
Centre just East of the Moser River Bridge.

Coming from Cape Breton, Port Hawksbury, Antigonish
Take the Trans Canada Highway West to Antigonish. In Antigonish,
turn left at the second set of traffic lights towards Sherbrooke.
In Shebrooke, turn right and follow highway 7 west for about 35
km to Necum Teuch (say: Kneecum Tah) and Moser River on
the Bay of Islands. You will see the large Bay of Islands signs on the
right side of the road.
Coming from Amherst via Truro takes about
1 hour & 45 min. from Truro.
Coming from New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island
Follow Highway # 374 to Sheet Harbour, then east (left) along Highway7
to Moser River.
